Osteopathic Physiatric (PM&R) Service Fees

To keep our administrative costs minimal, Dr. Behling has decided to remain OUT-OF-NETWORK so that she can continue to offer quality services for a fee that fairly reimburses time and efforts - without compromising the quality of services or our environment for patients. Although NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC does not currently submit insurance claims for their patients, extra co-pays or co-insurance fees will NOT be charged.

Unless choosing to pursue an ALL-INCLUSIVE option of payment, it is likely that all visits are eligible for reimbursement from your insurance carrier after payment in full. A special reimbursement receipt (i.e., “Superbill”) with the codes and fees identified for that date of service will be forwarded for this purpose.

Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm whether acupuncture and/massage will be covered by your insurance if it is part of the Physician’s plan of care - AND - supervised by the physician (not performed by her) - otherwise you may not be reimbursed for these options.

Of course, paying out-of-pocket fees can be daunting, especially when you don’t know what you will get for your investment. We want you to know that we strive to make our services cost-effective by being extremely targeted in our approaches, and have a reputation for providing significant relief in your symptoms in fewer than six (6) appointments.

All-Inclusive Visits

For those patients NOT OPTING TO BE REIMBURSED by their insurance carriers OR PREFER TO USE HSA CARDS, NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC has an All-Inclusive Appointment option which provides discounted service and procedure fees. You can be more assured that your needs for the day will met. All visits have options of physician evaluation, diagnostic testing and/or imaging ordering and/or review, medication management, and/or prescriptions, and/or Osteopathic or other PM&R procedures - whatever can be completed within the scheduled appointment time of your choosing. All procedures types are included in this fee, with an additional $75 medication fee for injectables, as indicated.

All-Inclusive Veteran / First Responder Visits

NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC has opted to offer prepaid discounted services to Veterans and First Responders/Security patients. All procedures types are also included in this fee, with an additional $75 medication fee for injectables, as indicated.

Team-Based Visits

Welcome to our unique team-based diagnostic and therapeutic approach to integrative care! This is what sets NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC apart from other pain-management groups or practitioners. So to offer more efficient evaluation and management options, this collaborative approach requires no less than three Team Members to support you during consultation and followup appointments - as well as time dedicated EVERY WEEK to discussion and collaboration about shared patients.

These visits are eligible for insurance reimbursement - OR you may decide to receive the discounted All-Inclusive option.

You may also opt into this option - or opt out - and continue your symptom management with single provider visits.

• Team-Based 120-Minute Consultation $485
  All-Inclusive Team-Based 120-Minute Consultation $435
  Includes physician evaluation & management, acupuncture and soft tissue evaluations, initiation of Peer Mentorship, and at least one procedure. If Mental Health Evaluation (at your request) is involved as part of the consultation, invoicing to Counselors will be separate.

• Team-Based 120-Minute Followup Visit $305
  All-Inclusive Team-Based 120-Minute Followup Visit $255
  Actual fee includes any combination of physician re-evaluation, oversight & management, peer mentor involvement, Physician/acupuncture and/or soft-tissue procedures included. If Mental Health Counseling is recommended as part of the plan of care, invoicing to Counselors is separate.

  All-Inclusive Team-Based 90-Minute Followup Visit $215
