As promised, NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC now offers a novel pain and symptom-management care ALL-INCLUSIVE TEAM-BASED model of care! From the start, several Specialists intentionally work together to more fully manifest a therapeutic relationship with a patient. Thereafter and inbetween appointments, weekly Interdisciplinary meetings are held to discuss shared patients so as to encourage trouble-shooting and more effective co-treatment.
Moreover, all patients are eligible to opt-in to this care option at any time to achieve more efficient, timely and collaborative care.
NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC was originally founded on Long Island, New York in 2013 by B. Allyn Behling, DO. In the first year, Dr. Behling was able to firmly established herself in the region as a patient-centered Osteopathic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician whose patients were regularly referred from medical specialists and practitioners in New York City, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
After moving to New Hampshire in 2019, Dr. Behling had the privilege of serving the Manchester VAMC veterans, but realized that she would not be able to achieve the outcomes she knew were possible in that particular setting. When she had the opportunity to redesign her solo-physician practice into an integrative collective of clinical professionals, she pushed full-steam ahead!
